Hosted by the St. Louis Regional Bicycle Federation

Buy and sell bikes and anything bicycle related. Enjoy the classic bike show by displaying your vintage bike, or vote for the best of the classic Stingrays, Balloon Tire, Middleweight, BMX, and Special Interest models. Members of Circus Day Foundation’s St. Louis Arches youth circus troupe will perform at 12:30 pm using bicycles and unicycles combined with an array of circus tricks and skills. Don’t miss this amazing performance!

Well Hungarians, a diverse country group from Nashville, IL will play tonight, January 30th, at Laurie’s Place in downtown Edwardsville. You may remember The Well Hungarians from the past 2 years at Glen Carbon homecoming events. Chrome Heart will accompany The Well Hungarians for this great show coined “Blast From the Past”.

Show will be from 9:30pm-1:30am in the back bar.

Edwardsville YMCA is set to host Parents Night Out on Saturday, January 30, 2010.

A night the whole family enjoys: the parents get an evening to themselves, while the children come to the YMCA for a night created just for them! The evening includes dinner for the attendees and great activities like: arts-n-crafts, sports, music, movies, special themes, and much more! (PNO is designed for children who are currently enrolled in grades K-6.) We will accept, and encourage, advanced registration as well as walk-in registration, but why wait? Reserve your spot soon. SIUE offers many intramural sports for students to get involved in. The sports offered in Spring 2010 are Indoor Soccer, Table Tennis, Indoor Basketball, Triathlon, Hot Shot, Free Throw, 3-point Contest, Softball, Flag Football, Volleyball, Handball, Ultimate Frisby, Kickball and Disc Golf.

Registration dates and information can be found at the Campus Recreation website or visiting the front desk at the Student Fitness Center.

Tuesday is Trivia Night in Edwardsville. Tuesday Taco Trivia is hosted each week at the American Legion with 50 cent tacos and Margarita Specials at the free event — starts at 7pm.

Laurie’s Place on Main Street also now has a trivia night each Tuesday. Contestants are encouraged to play as a team but individuals are accepted as well. Prizes are awarded to winners and losers, event runs 7pm-8:45pm

Two upcoming home meets for the SIUE Wrestling Team. The Cougars will host South Dakota State on Wednesday, January 20th and Central Missouri on Thursday, January 28th.

Both events will start at 7pm and will be held at the Vadalabene Center on campus.
